- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Attempted to make an ATM withdrawal New Year's Eve, received "Unable to process transaction at this time..." message on terminal screen. Received neither currency nor receipt indicating cancellation. The next day, my credit union online statement indicated a pending transaction for the amount of my unprocessed withdrawal, plus ATM fees. My credit union has been advised. For now, I will monitor my account to make sure no fraud has been perpetrated. I will update this review accordingly, based on resolution of this matterBy John Paul Reichley, June 20, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Today my father fell down in the parking lot next to BBVA Compass bank on N Lamar next to Austin Vet Care. He was trying to take his dog to the vet but when he opened the door, the dog bolted away and knocked him down. As he lay in the street struggling to get up his dog ran up to the bank and Neil of BBVA Compass. Neil walked the dog back over to the vet and then discovered my dad still laying in the parking lot. Neil stayed with my father and then even drove him to his doctor's office which was around the corner. This was such an unbelievably caring and generous thing to do. Since my parents aren't currently members of the bank, I am going to encourage them to move their money to BBVA Compass bank ASAP. Wow!By Coleman Jennings, October 04, 2016
