- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Marie in the Department for Massage Therapy has been a wonderful asset to me while my out-of-state license application has been processing. She was not only helpful to me answering questions regarding my Texas license transfer she was more helpful than the Illinois reps I spoke to in preparing for the transfer. I've been lucky to get her on the phone 4-5 times I've callled. Never once have I felt to be a nuisance and she's been kind as well as thorough in all my areas of questions and concerns. I can say however the rest of the office has been great too. Every one has given me time and the process does seem to be moving along quickly considering the amount of applications coming through their door. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Situated between the intramural fields and some apartments, the Texas Department of State Health Services is a smoke break paradise. By 10 AM every morning the sidewalk is filled with disillusioned state employees discussing weather, politics, and babies. Their tar-bulged lungs spew soot like a cartoon locomotives while they pander to each other about important issues like what was on television last night and what will be on television tomorrow night. The building itself is a one-of-a-kind outdoor jail cell that looks like it was pooped down onto earth by a vengeful god.By Ryan Stone, May 10, 2017
