- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Capital One overall is a good bank. I am able to make ATM cash deposits, the staff is overall very helpful. But I have two main issues, one was when I had a business misdiagnose my issue, so I turned in a claim, Capital One took it back right away. I sent in supporting documentation to prove it was faulty as I went to another business less than a week time went by. This doctor correctly diagnose me and gave me the proper medication to solve my issue at the present time. Well 3 months later Capital One states that I was wrong and I need to pay the money back. They never even gave me a legitimate reason as to why. Another reason why I rate this as a 1 star is they took away notarizing documents, this is something that is very crucial, especially when dealing with financial documents. Why would you take away a notary? This is something I need. Why take away a service that many people need and so MANY other financial institutions offer them as part of the membership. The last time I checked this is still a financial institution correct? Next their security features are very annoying, I once had to argue with corporate over my OWN money and WHY they couldn't release funds (guaranteed funds) to me on the same day. When many other banks do allow this. What is the reason for holding my funds?By Phil Blair, February 21, 2017
