- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This is absolutely the worst bank ever....I think the general manager sets the tone for the entire bank. She was so rude to me that I wanted to close my account but I couldn't make an appointment. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Horrible!! I find it unacceptable that the branch at 9830 Lake Creek Pkwy, Austin, TX 78717 is only allowed 1-1/2 tellers!! Today they had only 1 teller. I went to the drive-thru today at 3:40 and was asked to please come into the lobby because they only have one teller. There were 4 customers in line before me once I got inside the lobby. It took 27 minutes from the time I walked into the bank to the time I walked out. It's shameful that a bank the sized of BOA cannot staff a branch properly. The staff tells me the reason for (less than two) employees is that so many transactions can now be made online. That may be true, but that doesn't mean the bank should short change the customers that choose to deposit in a branch. Why is that branch only allowed 1-1/2 employees when they are next to a freeway, in a very busy (and growing) area of Austin!?! The branch near my home in Cedar Park has adequate staffing (Whitestone Blvd and Parmer). I never have a wait issue at that branch. The one at Lake Creek Pkwy is near my office so it's the most convenient location, however the least convenient when I look at the amount of time spent waiting in line there! Please address this issue! Or train your bank manager and the girl sitting in the little office to assist with banking transactions!By Margie Sharp, April 30, 2017
