- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I had AAA car insurance for one year and everything went perfect because I paid the full year upfront. This year I'm paying monthly and I've been having the worst experience with AAA Auto customer service. I've had to call repeatedly for the same issue in a matter of 2 1/2 months & the issue is still not resolved and when I asked for a manager he completely repeated everything exactly as the agent before him told me and after an hour on the phone & tired of hearing him go over what I already knew, I asked him point blank if he can help me so I can stay with this policy and not have to go with anothe le insurance, he said coldly & firmly, NO!!! Unbelievably the worst experience ever! I don't recommend AAA Auto insurance if your not planning on dealing with them at all & your just paying for the entire year & they take your money. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I am not the easiest customer to deal with, but my agent is very friendly and there was absolutely zero wait time. Within 9 minutes my issue was resolved. Joe was very helpful even with something like getting a cheaper rate, which you can do by taking a driver's education course or paying your balance at one payment. The $5 surcharge each month is a bummer, but having AAA is a cool thing.By Lauren Lever, October 12, 2016
