- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★this hospital used to be terrible, but in the past 3-4 years they have really made a great effort to make it the best hospital in the country. I don't know about that, but it is most certainly the best hospital in Austin. And, the food really is good. The staff are amazing, compassionate and caring. I would not hesitate to take myself or a loved one there for any kind of surgery, emergency care, whatever. A great place. I only wish they had outpatient clinics also. Oh, and their staff doctors, the hospitalists, are the BEST I have ever met. Honest and caring.By A Google User, March 02, 2017
